Whose making all these dang books?
My name is Lupe Campos I’m a Queer Mexican American artists turn bookbinder. I first learned bookbinding as a highschooler and ever since have made sketchbooks and journals for my own drawing practice as well as gifts for friends and family.
I am devoted to the craft and passionate about sharing my love of handmade products. Mass production has made us forget the value and time it takes to create something from start to finish. You can be guarantee these books have been lovingly made by hand and with a dedication to craftsmanship. Hand labor is expensive and I try to make sure to take that into consideration when making styles that can be affordable for the neighbors and the soon-to-be who find me at local markets.
Lovingly made in Jamaica Plain!
